Greg Davis Greg Davis – Cycling for Life

My name is Greg Davis. I am the brother of Victor Davis, an Olympic athlete who was killed on November 11th, 1989. Last year was the twentieth anniversary of Victor’s death. While this was an enormous tragedy for my family, we agreed to donate Victor's organs and five people received the gift of life.

Last year, I rode in honour of my brother's memory. This year I'm riding to celebrate transplant recipients who are honoring their donors and families by celebrating their second chance at life through the power of sport.

On July 28th, I will start an 11-day ride that will begin at the Victor Davis Pool in Guelph and will finish in Quebec City at the Canadian Transplant Games. Along the way I will stop at hospitals to raise awareness of the need for registered organ and tissue donors. And, of course, it is a great honour for me to be at my first Canadian Transplant Games and share this experience with transplant recipients, donor families and supporters. You too can save and enhance lives by registering your consent to become an organ and tissue donor!
