Track and Field athletics:


Races - Distances from 25 metres to 1500 metres

1- Participants must wait for the starting signal before taking off.

2- For their own safety, participants must wear sports shoes.


Relay Race - 4x100 metres

1- Teams are made up of four runners separated by a 100 meters leg.

2- At the end of his 100 metres leg, the runner holding the baton may run up to an additional 20 metres during which he must pass the baton to the next runner who will have taken off.

3- The runner holding the baton must hand it off to the next runner in his hand.

4- The baton cannot be relayed by throwing it.

5- Runners must wait for the starting signal before taking off.

6- For their own safety, runners must wear sports shoes.


Walking - 3 km, 5 km / Race - 1 km, 3 km, 5 km

1- Racers must wait for the starting signal before taking off.

2- For their own safety, racers must wear sports shoes.

3- Racers must remain within the course’s limits. Using a shortcut could lead to disqualification.

4- For safety reasons, the use of MP3 players, stereo headsets or similar devices by racers is prohibited.


Long Jump

1- Participants gather speed on a 15 metres run-up.

2- Participants must jump before the foil line at the end of the run-up distance.

3- If a participant crosses the foil line before jumping, the jump will be declared not valid. The participant is not allowed to restart the jump, but is allowed to make any other jumps that are left.

4- For their own safety, participants must wear sports shoes.

5- For safety reasons, wearing any jewellery or watches is prohibited. This does not include the MedicAlert bracelet.


High Jump

1- Participants gather speed on a 15 metres run-up.

2- If, while jumping, participants touch the bar without causing it to fall, the jump is declared valid.

3- If, while jumping, participants touch the bar causing it to fall, the jump is declared not valid.

4- For their own safety, participants must wear sports shoes.

5- For safety reasons, wearing any jewellery or watches is prohibited. This does not include the MedicAlert bracelet.


Shot Put

1- The throwing method will be decided on at a later date.

2- Participants may not wear gloves unless it has been discussed beforehand with a referee.


Ball Throw

1- Participants gain speed by taking a maximum of 16 steps.

2- The throw must be made before the foil line.

3- Participants can use any throwing method that best suits them.

4- Participants may not receive the help of others or use any tool to make the throw.

5- Participants do not need to provide their own ball.
