Games / Participants / Questions and Answers
A1 : Yes, it is. A Canadian (accredited) athlete that is 18 years old or less at the time of the Games may be accompanied of all of their immediate family. The guests will be identified as accredited guests. They will all have to pay $249.00 (tax included) for their registration and MC2 Expérience stratégique pledges to provide them with free lodgings in the Laval University residences. A2 : Yes, it is. A Canadian (accredited) athlete that is over 18 years old at the time of the Games has the right to be accompanied by two principal guests (accredited guests). However, the third guest (general guest) will have to pay $299.00 and will have no guarantee of staying at the Laval University residences, since it is a privilege reserved for the accredited members. If there is still vacancy after May 1st, this third person (general guest) can ask for lodging. The rule of first come, first served will apply, and no refunds will be given. For families with over four members, we recommend to stay at our partner, Jaro. A3 : Yes it is. However, MC2 Expérience stratégique makes no distinction based on the age of a guest. Having the same rights and privileges as others, she will have to pay the same price. A4 : Your son must subscribe as an international athlete since he doesn’t have the Canadian nationality. Only two people will be able to accompany him as general guests. The athlete and his two guests will have no guarantee of staying at the University Laval residences, since it is a privilege reserved to the accredited guests. If after May 1st, there is still vacancy, they will be able to ask to be lodged, which will cost a supplement. The rule of first come, first served will be applied. |
